Invitation access

The official beta is cohort-gated. Press Start does not bypass an absent, paused, revoked, or wrong-candidate membership.

Device-specific presentation

Immersive VR, mixed reality, spatial presentation, and browser fallback are separate evidence cells. They do not inherit support from one another.

Permissions stay local

XR, camera/passthrough, microphone, motion, and room access remain unknown until the browser asks after an explicit action.

Eddie can degrade

Text, voice input, voice output, core grounding, and Personal Eddie have independent runtime states. A text fallback must not pretend voice or memory is active.

Personal systems are optional

Drive, My VR Setup, BYOS, BYOK, BYOC, rooms, and generation are not required for the authored Core Beta and may remain unavailable.

No inherited acceptance

Any source, content, configuration, model, deployment, or policy change creates a new candidate and reopens its affected evidence gates.

Diagnostics are opt-in

Problem reports do not include diagnostics or screenshots unless the rider previews the exact attachment and confirms it a second time.

Maintenance fails closed

An off, stale, mismatched, or maintenance release channel returns to the website and never opens a generic preview URL.
